For many the end of the world is drawing nigh as per the pattern set out in Revelation 13, There is much speculation about the identity of the Antichrist. Some of the more popular targets are  Vladimir Putin,  Prince William, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and Pope Francis I.  During the 1940’s, many believed Adolph Hitler was the Antichrist. In the United States, former Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, and current President Barack Obama, are the most frequent candidates.

“And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. He had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on his horns, and on each head a blasphemous name. Now there’s a great beast supposed to rise out of the worldwide sea of troubled humanity. He’s arisen out of that filthy sea of restless humanity and captured the imagination of the nation and the world.   Antichrist, is leading them to their  final destruction and the destruction of the world!  Calling a man the antichrist is essentially declaring him to be Satan incarnate. Many Christians tend to forget that the end times revolve also around the nation of Israel, not solely the United States.

One of the most common views today is  that the antichrist will be a man of Muslim/Arab descent, in his 40s, and will rule for 42 months  The Bible nowhere says anything about the ethnicity, religion, or age of the antichrist. Some believe that the antichrist will be of Jewish descent, as he would have to be a Jew to claim to be the Messiah while others believe that the antichrist will come from a revived Roman Empire, most likely identified with modern-day Europe? the middle east, or from Jerusalem, Israel. All Mere speculations?

The antichrist, who will be the leader of a one-world governmental system in the end times. It will take just such a person to deceive the entire world in the end times (2 Thessalonians 2:11). The Bible prophesies that the antichrist will come to power peacefully (Revelation 6:2) and will rule the earth in a time of tremendous peace and prosperity, which will then be followed by the evil and devastation of the end times (Revelation chapters 6-19). The Bible teaches that the antichrist will create a 7-year peace covenant with the nation of Israel, but then break the covenant after 3.5 years (Daniel 9:27). The antichrist will then essentially attempt a second Holocaust, the annihilation of the nation of Israel and Jews around the world.

 Barack Obama a Muslim, non Christian has made some unclear statements regarding his supposedly positive support of Israel. One of the marks of the antichrist is that he is a liar;  Obama has  also  relationships with individuals and groups that have anti-Semitic tendencies. This claim of support for Israel, contradicted by his dubious statements and troubling relationships, does seem reminiscent of what the Bible says about the antichrist and the nation of Israel.   Second Thessalonians 2:3 states that the antichrist, “the man of lawlessness,” will be revealed – it will be abundantly more clear who he is when the time comes. There is certainly no Scripture that says the Antichrist will sign, or confirm, a 7-year peace treaty with Israel and several other nations. Antichrist at first promises peace. Obama won Nobel Peace Prize. Antichrist proclaims to be god. Obama in 2007 said when introducing Morgan Freeman – “He was President before I was; He was God before I was.”!  And”  he does all he does now in hopes of still causing another world war.”

Obama also cannot help to take pot-shots at Christians after all he really is a Muslim, not a Christian.. President Obama agrees, or so he said in a speech at the National Prayer Breakfast:  “ Lest we get on our high horse and think this is unique to some other place, remember that during the Crusades and the Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ. In our home country, slavery and Jim Crow all too often was justified in the name of Christ.” Real reason Obama was absent in Paris was that his prophet was slandered.

Revelation 13:5-8 declares, “The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise his authority for forty-two months. He opened his mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven. He was given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them. And he was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb that was slain from the creation of the world.”
